OUR PROCESS
With every Home Security Dealer we work with, our goal is to establish a long lasting, mutually beneficial relationship.

Our objective on every call is to find prospects who are interested in sitting down with a licensed security consultant in regards to getting a security system for their home or business. We also seek homeowners that are unhappy with their current monitoring company and not under contract. Our process is as follows:

1. Our CSR’s initiate the call, introduce and explain the free equipment/free installation promotion. If the prospect agrees to meet with a consultant we gather the following information:

  • First and Last name (or Business name)
  • Complete mailing address
  • Home phone #
  • Cell Phone # (if available)
  • Spouses name
  • When they purchased the home
  • Name of the person on title
  • Is there existing equipment in the home
  • Have you had security in the past
  • Estimated Credit Score (if unsure they ask if they have active credit cards and checking account) *If client says they are unsure of their credit score and have no active credit cards and no active bank account, we WILL NOT send out the lead.
  • Desired appointment date (never more than 48 hours out)
  • Best 2 hour window for our rep to come out
  • Any pertinent notes including: number of children, emotional triggers (why they want a security system), recent burglaries in the neighborhood, if they are currently shopping for a system etc.

2. JDM’s floor managers that have experience selling home security systems for ADT and Monitronics. Once the CSR has gathered all of the required information and schedule the appointment, they inform the homeowner that they will be receiving a second call from the verification department. Our floor manager’s verify each and every appointment confirming home ownership, estimated credit score, the availability of both decision makers and overall interest in meeting with someone to discuss home security in their home. (35% of appointments generated by our CSR’s do not make it through our verification process)

3. The verified appointment will be delivered to you in our web based CRM within 10 minutes of generating the appointment. You will receive a proprietary log in to view and status your leads. A text message is sent to a designated cell phone number every time we deliver a lead to your company. All clients should make is a practice to check the CRM for new appointments daily.

Closing % and expectations:
THIS APPOINTMENT PROGRAM WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU, IF YOU PLAN ON CLOSING OVER THE PHONE.

The appointments we set are with people who are expecting to meet with a consultant face to face. The best results will come by driving out to all the appointments that are set for you. The most common mistake is to call the customer prior to running the appointment. The prospect already had a 10 minute conversation with our CSR, and another 5 min verification call with our floor manager. There is no need to call again. If it’s too far of a drive to the appointment then we need to size down your territory.

The reality of lead running is that not every appointment will result in a sale. There will be a certain number of no-shows, credit fails, one-leggers, etc. There is no way to avoid this from happening regardless of how extensive the screening process is. What we have found is that certain markets perform better than others. However if you commit to the program, do not pre call the appointments and trust our process you can expect to have a closing percentage between 22% - 35% on all appointments. (overall average is 26.5% with 38% being the best and 22% being the lowest)

PROPOSAL OPTIONS:
Option #1: Lead Purchase Option. You can pay as you go. We have a 10 appointment minimum order. The appointments are exclusive and will NEVER be resold.

Disputes

  • We will refund any appointment where the prospect is not the homeowner (i.e. renters)
  • It is assumed that Credit Fails will account for up to 15% of total appointments. Any overage of 15% will be credited to your account. Supporting documentation must be provided.

Option #2: JDM Partnership Program.
JDM currently has partnerships with 12 Home Security Dealers in various markets across the US. Each partnership is exclusive in each particular market, meaning JDM will not generate appointments for more than one partner in any given geographical region.

Appointments are delivered as generated and JDM is paid a bounty for each system installed as a result of our appointments. JDM only works with established; financially stable dealers for its partnership program.
